Batten down the hatches against winter’s plastic pollution storms
Every year, coastal communities in the UK brace themselves against the winter conditions that create a ‘Perfect Storm’ of plastic pollution. To help stem the tide and spread the principles of Parley AIR (Avoid, Intercept, Redesign), our partners Surfers Against Sewage have issued a rally cry for 300 intrepid UK-based Beach Clean Leaders to volunteer for a massive Autumn Beach Clean. Each leader will organize and host their own cleanup during the week of October 23-29.
